Polyteknik is a Danish technology company with more than 30 years of experience in physical vapour deposition.

We work across two specialisations: designing and manufacturing PVD systems for research and production in the semiconductor industry and delivering precision metallized thin film coatings as a trusted subcontract partner for industrial components and science projects.

The two divisions now operate in separate locations;

• PVD Systems, Hjallerup
• Coating Service, Østervrå

PVD Systems

Our PVD systems are built for organisations that need reliable, scalable thin film deposition. From first experiment to full-scale manufacturing. We serve the semiconductor industry, photonics and PIC, quantum technology, MEMS and sensors, wireless devices, and power electronics.

Whether you are running a university research programme or ramping a production line, our modular systems can grow with you. Backed by 30 years of PVD technology and process expertise and manufactured in Denmark.

In August 2026, our PVD System division moved to a new, purpose-built facility in Hjallerup. With the space and infrastructure to support further growth and larger-scale production customers.

Coating Service

Our Coating Service division provides precision metallized thin film coatings for demanding industrial and scientific applications. We work with OEM manufacturers, electronics and defence subcontractors, medico and biotech companies, research institutions, and some of the world’s largest science programmes, including facilities operated by CERN and ESA.

Our Coating Service division remains at our established location in Østervrå.
